On December 4th – 7th 2019, 99Plas participated in 29th International Istanbul Plastic Industry Fair organised by Tüyap in cooperation with Page V (Turkish Plastic Industry Foundation) Tüyap Fair and Congress Centre. In the days full of Plastic recycling information and solution provider 99Plas, the four-day contained information about the global plastic supply chain, Turkey as the emerging market for plastic reprocessing and networking in the plastic recycling industry of 40+ countries.
Currently, Turkey has a total contribution of 10 million tons, turnover around $35 billion, direct exports approaching $5 billion and annual growth exceeding GNP growth in the last 10 years, witnessing the rise in the national economic contribution in the plastic industry. The top Turkey export markets in 2019 were Iraq, Germany, England and Romania. Turkey is following the rule of the Basel Convention that allows them to import ‘recyclable scrap with economic value’. This has shown an optimistic view of progress in the Plastic industry; the experience is turning to be positive.
99Plas participated with an interactive booth and to provide experience with digital kiosks that help attract, engage and retain 99Plas booth visitors. Providing the user-experience of the 99Plas platform, one-to-one meetings and extensive support to help visitors to register were helpful. Being in the digital age 99Plas is a digital solution for Plastic Recycling and Reprocessing factories in Turkey. The Plastic processing factories in Turkey have registered themselves as the buyers and looking for the Plastic Scarp and material from the UK in mainly in HDPE, LDPE LLDPE and PP on 99Plas.
As the environment is facing the global plastic crisis, 99Plas is assisting to provide solutions for the circular economy and give value to the businesses in Turkey. The user registration is free at 99Plas, we encourage the plastic waste and scrap sellers to register on the platform and sell their plastics fast and securely.
